Me and My Apple!

Ken sits with his arms wrapped around his wafer thin portable apple computer. Its everything to him. It contains his hopes, his dreams, his ambitions, his successes, his failures, everything. In fact his apple contains his life. Wherever Ken goes thereto his faithful apple follows.

You want to know about Kens latest project; look-in the apple. You want to know how Kens finances work; look-in the apple. You want to know what dreams were not materialized; look in the apple. You want to know the names and addresses of his friends; look in the apple. Like mystic Megs opaque, gas filled globe, the answers in their somewhere.

You want to know who Ken is; ah! Be careful now. Which Ken do you want to get to know?

The techie who can baffle you with computer jargon and know how?

The, hail fellow, well met guy who will spend any amount of time with you, drinking coffee and gossiping the day away.

The animal lover, who quickly knocks together a cardboard home in his living room for a stray cat on a cold winters night.

The confidant who, willingly, listens to love-scorn friends outpourings, on the telephone, in the middle of the night rarely saying a word and determined to be non judgmental.

The analyst, who is willing to spend an inordinate amount of time researching and developing his ideas to the point where he can make an informed decision.

The partner, who always forgets birthdays, anniversaries and burns the midnight oil.

The man, who always has a novel on the go. The man, who has a catholic taste in music.

The man, who can be relied upon in any crisis.

You see Ken is just like his apple. When the case is closed he is whatever you see on the surface. Whatever you imagine the fruit to be that is what you get. But as you open the lid and access the memory. As you bite into the apple you reveal the true core; he is a loving, peaceful being.

Just like you.

Good Luck
